About Me

It's funny, because up until August 2015, I really hadn't travelled much.  I'm born and raised in Montreal, Canada, to an Italian family, and have had the luxury to live in an extremely international and multicultural city.  But it was not enough.

I learned about the possibility of studying abroad through my university after my first year there, and knew it was an opportunity I could not pass up.

Cue the lengthy but worthwhile process of finding a suitably university abroad, matching courses, settling my banking, finding housing, booking my flight and setting off alone to live on my own for one entire year in Madrid, Spain.

In Madrid, my passion came to life.  I made friends for life upon my first few days, and really immersed myself into Spanish culture.  I used Madrid as a base to explore the rest of Spain and lots of Europe, and I managed to not only explore 19 European countries, but to comfortably live an amazing madrileño lifestyle as well!

After my exchange, I came back to Montreal, became President of the student exchange association at my university, worked at the university's international office for six months and made some more amazing friends.

Now, I'm off on my next adventure, as I will be going to teach English in Seoul, South Korea over the next calendar year, and hopefully learn about a whole new culture along the way!
